Teacher Coaching (Culturally Responsive)

During the 2016-2017 school year, Dr. Fadeyibi, as school principal, led his school to a 16.2 percentage point improvement in the English Language Arts section of the state standardized test. His school enjoyed the highest growth out of 243 schools in the School District of Philadelphia for overall growth in the ELA section of the Pennsylvania State Standardized Assessment (PSSA).

Helping teachers improve practice and use data: Our team knows what is vital and how to get students from diverse backgrounds to meet the mark. It’s not about test strategies but helping teachers give students the right amount of meaningful practice and becoming explicit when teaching procedural content. It’s about using common planning time to review student work to gear instruction.
